Contract question

I have a tmobile sidekick 3 and i wanna get a contract but not 4 2 years or a whole year is that possible because i wannted to just get insurance and if "sumthing happens" to it i can just get the lx is there any way to do that other than flex plan

Well even if you broke your phone, insurance would just give you another sidekick 3 not an lx. And no its either one year or two.
